Due to weather conditions in the Emilia Romagna region, High Speed, InterCity and Regional trains are experiencing delays, route restrictions, and cancellations.
We are here to help and apologize for any inconvenience you may experience. If you have purchased tickets from ItaliaRail.com and your train is canceled, you will receive a 100% refund.
We recommend that you do not travel during the next few days if at all possible. If you must travel we recommend that you verify if your train is affected here.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY TRAIN IS CANCELLED?
If the train has been canceled, the train staff should offer to assist you in booking the next available train. The law states that the train line has to provide alternative transportation to get you where you need to go
If they were not able to provide alternative transportation, you are eligible for a full refund, and we would be happy to file the claim on your behalf
Simply contact one of our Traveler Experience agents to receive a refund authorization form to sign and send back to us. Once received, we will process your refund immediately.
Please Note: If you choose to process the refund directly with TrenItalia, it could take upwards of six months to receive your refund. Trenitalia will contact you directly. ItaliaRail has no say, and plays no part, in the decision Trenitalia makes about your refund.
