Don’t miss the Milan Expo, this year’s world’s fair in Italy.

The Milan Expo, this year’s food-themes world fair, is taking place in Milan from May 1 to October 1. There are over 140 countries represented, so choosing what to see, do and what eat may be difficult! But, reaching the Expo site, 110 hectares northwest of the city center, is as easy as pie.
As the official global rail partner for Expo 2015, Trenitalia has allotted 236 daily trains, of which 148 are high-speed Freccia trains, that all disembark at one final destination: the Rho Fiera Milano Expo 2015 station. That’s 130,000 seats per day! View the schedule and book your tickets here.
For those planning to disembark in the city center, the M1 Metro (red line) stops at Rho Fiera, just a 25-minute underground ride from Piazza del Duomo.
Between the event site itself and the city’s downtown happenings, Milan is buzzing with Expo Fever. From pop-up restaurants, to innovative architecture, to the “Nessun Dorma” aria, it’s no wonder it seems like the whole world is planning a visit to Italy in Summer-Fall 2015.
