The Elipsos Trenhotel runs on 4 main routes across Europe, which are:
- Milan – Barcelona, the trenhotel ‘Salvador Dali’
- Paris – Madrid, the trenhotel ‘Francisco de Goya’
- Paris – Barcelona, the trenhotel ‘Joan Miro’
- Zurich – Barcelona, the trenhotel ‘Pau Casals’
A Restaurant car is of course on this train, and you will enjoy eating at this authentic restaurant while you are travelling!
Services are guaranteed by multilingual staff, who will take care of you from the moment you step on board – after trying this service you will never want to travel on a regular overnight service again! Pass holders are accepted and get a reduced & discounted rate, so if you have a Eurail or Interrail Pass this is a great way to enjoy some luxury while you explore Europe.
The train connnecting Italy and Spain is called ‘Salvador Dali’, and is a wonderful way of traveling between these two mediterranean countries.
Trenhotel Elipsos service availability:
- Monday, Wednesday and Friday from Milan/Novara/Turin to Barcelona, Gerona and Figueras.
- Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday from Barcelona, Gerona and Figueras to Turin/Novara/ Milan.
Rules:
- There is a no smoking policy onboard this train
- All Italian tickets, both domestic and cross border must be validated at the machines on the platform before use. Failure to do this will result in a fine of up to 200 Euros.
