Artesia - Day and Night trains linking France and Italy

Travelling on Artesia de Jour (Artesia Day) the main departure/arrival stations will be Milan & Turin in Italy, and Lyon & Paris in France, where you can relax in the bar coach enjoying light snacks and a drink, or if travelling in 1st Class you can have a sit-down meal at your seat. With optional face-to-face configuration and special section for families with children, Artesia is the ideal fast service for travel between Italy and France.

Travelling on Artesia de Nuit (Artesia Night) services you can sleep soundly on the smooth tracks between France and Italy. Designed for quiet comfort, Artesia night services offer both couchettes and sleepers accommodation for a good night’s sleep. Night-time services run between the main cities of Bologna, Florence, Milan, Rome and Venice in Italy and Paris in France. Put your feet up with a soft pillow, warm blanket and a good book after a long day at work – or have a dinner in the restaurant car before retiring to your cabin for the night. Overnight accommodation on Artesia services are as follows:

• 6-berth and 4-berth couchette cabins – Service including berth where passengers can lie down and relax during the night; cabins are air conditioned, the attendant will offer a bottle of water to each passenger and he/she will wake you up in the morning.

• 3-berth, 2-berth & single sleeper cabins – Service more comfortable than couchette, including accommodation for either 3, 2 or 1 person; the cabin has a washbasin with hot & cold water, a real bed and a complimentary toiletry kit together with a bottle of water is given to each passenger. In the morning, after you wake, the attendant will serve a continental breakfast (hot drink, juice, croissant, butter & jam) together with the newspaper of the day in your cabin (included in the cost of your ticket).
